n a world driven by technological innovation, it is easy to believe that every problem has already been solved. Every day we hear about new algorithms, artificial intelligence, and groundbreaking applications. Yet many of these projects are created far from the realities of everyday life, often inspired by trends rather than genuine human needs.
VinFinitti was born differently.
Our project did not emerge from a corporate boardroom or a research laboratory. It was inspired by real experiences, real challenges, and a deep desire to solve a problem that remains invisible to much of society.
An Inspiration with a Name and a Face
Everything began with Włodzimierz, the father of Seweryn, VinFinitti’s founder. Włodzimierz is deaf. For years, his family and friends witnessed how ordinary daily situations could become significant challenges.
For most people, it is natural to:
- Order a coffee at a café.
- Speak privately with a doctor about their health.
- Handle important matters at a government office.
- Exchange a few words with a neighbour.
For millions of deaf people around the world, these seemingly simple interactions can involve constant communication barriers, dependence on others, and a loss of privacy.
The most painful challenge, however, is the loss of independence. No one should have to rely on someone else to communicate their own thoughts, feelings, and intentions.
The Questions That Changed Everything
Watching these challenges unfold led us to ask some fundamental questions:
- Why, in an age of extraordinary technological advancement, does communication remain a barrier for millions of people?
- Shouldn’t technology primarily serve those who have been excluded from full participation in everyday social life?
We quickly realised that existing solutions do not fully address these needs. Sign language interpreters provide an invaluable service, but their availability is often limited. Traditional text-based communication tools, meanwhile, frequently lack the natural flow and immediacy of real conversation.
We decided to create something different.
Our goal was to build a tool that empowers deaf individuals with greater independence. A solution they can carry in their pocket, allowing them to communicate naturally, confidently, and on their own terms—without intermediaries.
Our Vision for the Future
VinFinitti is more than technology. It is a mission built on empathy and the belief that everyone deserves equal access to communication.
We envision a future where:
- A deaf person can independently visit a bank, apply for a loan, or sign a contract with confidence that their intentions and words are accurately communicated in real time.
- Neighbourly and social relationships flourish without communication barriers.
- Public institutions, businesses, and services become genuinely accessible to everyone, without requiring pre-arranged interpretation support.

Although we are building for the future, our inspiration will always remain rooted in where this journey began.
The love of a son for his father gave us the motivation to transform frustration into innovation.
